I just recently got back from a short stint in Vegas for a WPPI conference. Every year about this time thousands of photographers flock to Las Vegas to take workshops, listen to speakers, snag some great deals and free stuff at the trade show, go to tons of parties, and reunite with other photog friends from around the globe. It reminds me a lot of summer camp…except you can drink and gamble….which definitely did not happen at the summer camp I was at!
One of the best things about a this conference is there are photo booths EVERYWHERE! And honestly…why wouldn’t there be? Photo booths are the best! Have you ever met someone that didn’t like a photo booth?
My friend Kat shares this affinity with me. This is 85% of why I love her.
Our mission: To hit up every photo booth we could find. (We may or may not have gone through some of them more than once…but who is counting?)
As photographers we get pretty comfortable behind the camera….in fact most of us don’t like to be in front of the camera at all….but sometimes we do.
(disclaimer: unfortunately I can’t blame the ridiculousness that follows on anything other than the fact that we are ridiculous and awkward in front of the camera….nevertheless you should be entertained!)
