It’s Valentine’s Day….and while I pretend to regard it much disdain….I secretly don’t mind it that much. I often think about the fact that it’s harder to love. Love is messy and can hurt, but it can also heal. It can make us more honest. It can bring out the best version of ourselves. Even though it’s harder to love…the reward is always greater when we do. So let today be a reminder to love harder, forgive much, and acknowledge that there is always risk involved when loving others, but our lives are so much more enriched when we do. Happy Valentine’s Day….

I just got back from Mexico where I was shooting this lovely couple’s wedding. I’m already missing the sun and pina coladas so I thought I would blog some of my favorites. We had quite a bit of rain on the wedding day, but Ron and Leah were total troopers and did not let that bring down their big day! The rain ceased just long enough for them to have their ceremony outside followed by an intimate dinner with close friends and family. Ron and Leah, thanks so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day and I hope you are having so much fun during the rest of your stay in Mexico! Also special thanks to Kari Crowe for traveling and shooting with me!
