Lindsey Shea Photography bio picture

I'm a flip flop, jeans wearing kind of girl.  I love a hard laugh and a good cry.  Good music makes my heart go *pitter patter*.  I like to take pretty pictures. Life is 300% better when ice cream is involved.  Traveling makes me feel alive.  I love to sing, but am not what you call "good".  Mexican food makes my world a better place. Sparkly things make me smile.  If Anthropologie would let me move into their store I would.  Polaroids make me feel nostalgic. I would consider people watching a hobby.  Road trips with friends restore the rest to my soul.  I think best when laying in a hammock.  People fascinate me.  I love, love.  I'm an extroverted introvert.  Photography is another way for me to see the world.  This is me...welcome to what I love.

I am a Dallas based wedding photographer, but am always looking to travel to different places.  I shoot a select number of weddings and portraits every year so if you're engaged or if you are just wanting a senior/portrait session I would love to hear from you!  Check out recent work here on my blog and I love comments so please say hi!

Colorado

“Solitude is such a potential thing. We hear voices in solitude that we never hear in the hurry and turmoil of life; we receive counsels and comforts, we get under no other condition….”    -Amelia Barr
A few weeks ago I took a trip to Colorado with a few of my greatest friends.  It was one...

Chandlers

Another fun family session…I am enjoying shooting families more and more!  It’s challenging and fun.  Mosquitoes were attacking us almost the entire time, but these guys were troopers and we got some fun shots!

Posey’s

About a week ago I went to visit my childhood friend Libby in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  We grew up down the street together and I can recall a million memories that include Libby.  I remember in 5th grade when she wore her MC Hammer pants to school and I thought they were the coolest…unfortunately I really...

Holleman Family

When taking pictures of children you often  have to lay your dignity aside and act like a complete crazy behind the camera in order to entertain/get them to smile.  And that’s exactly what I did.  Despite this little cutie’s best efforts to not look at my camera, I still got some adorable shots of him...

One of the cutest families I’ve had the pleasure of shooting!  These two girls know how to work it in front of a camera….it made shooting this session a lot of fun!  My absolute favorite is the portrait of the three girls….so beautiful!  Thank you Lancaster family for a fun evening with your beautiful family!
